February 25, 2025 by Chuck Panzarella

Maybach is a prestigious German car brand that belongs to Mercedes-Benz. It started as a company in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach and his son Karl Maybach, who was involved in the production of engines for airships.  In 2013, it was merged with Mercedes-Benz again, and since 2015, it has been a sub-brand of Mercedes-Benz that offers high-end versions of the S-Class and GLS-Class models. However, even top-tier models are subject to imperfections. There have been reports of mechanical issues with Maybachs such as improper airbag deployment and engine stalls. If you have a Maybach Lemon, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or compensation from the manufacturer.

Is My Maybach A Lemon?

A lemon is a term used to describe a defective vehicle that does not meet the standards of quality and performance. If you suspect that your Maybach is a lemon, you should look for some signs that indicate a serious problem with your car. Some of these signs are:

  • Failure to pass state inspection or emission test
  • Frequent and repeated repairs for the same issue
  • Major defects that affect the safety, value, or use of the car
  • Total number of days out of service exceeding a certain limit
  • Warranty repairs that take longer than 30 days

If you notice any of these signs, you may have a lemon and you should contact the manufacturer or dealer to seek a remedy. You may also have legal rights under your state’s lemon law or the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act to get a refund, replacement, or compensation for your lemon car.
